Assistance configuring your email client for Courier IMAP email services: Our August 4th, 2007 upgrade to the Courier MTA as our standard email system requires that anyone using the IMAP email protocal for email make a small change to their email account settings in the local email client The Root Folder Path setting in your email client should be changed to INBOX. {INBOX period, all caps, no spaces} so that all of your folders appear in the correct location. The symptom of this setting being incorrect is that any folders for your email will be under your Inbox instead of by themselves.
To correct this, edit the email account settings (usually on the Tools menu) for the account. In Outlook/Outlook Express, you will have an IMAP Tab where you can make
the change: For Mozilla Thunderbird, it is under an Advanced button on the Server
